We use only certified materials and test them extensively — both in our own and in independent laboratories. Every component is checked for safety, durability and compliance with environmental standards, so you can be sure the Perfectino product is safe at every level — from raw material to finished pair.
LWG leather (Leather Working Group)
The leather we use is a by-product of the food industry — no animal is farmed solely for the material. Production uses natural dyes that do not pollute the environment, and keeps chromium to a minimum: chromium affects the environment and can be unsafe for the wearer. LWG certification guarantees that every stage — from tanning to finishing — meets strict sustainability standards.
Air Mesh
— a 3D-structured mesh that came out of the sports industry. Its three-dimensional weave lets air move freely through the shoe and carries excess moisture away instead of trapping it. At the same time the structure keeps dust and dirt out, so things stay clean and comfortable in any conditions.
Organic cotton
— cotton grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or GMOs. Growing it uses considerably less water than conventional cotton and does not exhaust the soil. Soft, breathable and hypoallergenic — for people who value comfort and considered consumption.
Next-generation polyester
— a recycled synthetic material made from plastic waste (for example, recycled PET bottles). It matches virgin polyester in durability and weight, yet needs 50% less energy to produce and keeps waste out of landfill. A circular model of consumption without any loss of quality.
Memory Foam
— a shape-memory material first developed for spacecraft interiors, to absorb the impact loads on astronauts in space. Under heat and pressure it follows the anatomical contour of the foot, spreads load evenly, reduces peak pressure and damps vibration. Used at the heel and in the tongue for extra comfort without losing the tactile sensitivity a barefoot construction depends on.
ETPU (Expanded Thermoplastic Polyurethane)
— expanded thermoplastic polyurethane, an effective cushioning solution borrowed from the sports industry. This highly elastic granular material absorbs impact loads up to 55% better than conventional EVA foam. Each granule works like a microscopic spring: it stores energy as it compresses and returns it as it springs back. It keeps its properties between −20 °C and +50 °C, and does not crumble or lose resilience over time.
Barefoot+ — a technology that combines an anatomical barefoot construction with engineering solutions from the sports industry. The foot stays in its natural position: the wide toe box does not squeeze the toes and preserves natural biomechanics. But unlike the classic minimalist approach, Barefoot+ adds targeted support in key zones — arch, heel, Achilles — using engineering borrowed from running and trekking shoes. The result: legs that don't tire even on long walks over hard surfaces. You get the freedom of a bare foot without compromising comfort over distance.
Green Rubber — a composite rubber compound based on natural latex tapped responsibly in the forests of Vietnam. The technology gives confident grip on city surfaces — asphalt, paving slabs, compacted ground. The elasticity of natural rubber, combined with an optimised compound, holds steady on wet and slippery surfaces, which directly improves the safety of every step. Production fits the sustainability model: responsible forestry, no methods that damage the trees, and a minimised carbon footprint across the whole cycle — from tapping the latex to the finished outsole.
Recyclable Materials — a set of engineering decisions aimed at sustainability at every stage of the shoe's life cycle. We test and adopt materials that are as biodegradable and recyclable as possible. Every component is judged not only on performance but on the trace it leaves after use. That gives confidence that Perfectino products do not pollute the environment. Beyond the materials themselves, we control the entire production chain: which equipment is used, which components and auxiliary substances go into each pair. Transparent production is a condition of our responsibility to the planet.
Arch Support+ — passive arch support technology that neither corrects nor alters the natural structure of the foot. The support engages under certain conditions: sudden acceleration or braking, going downhill or uphill, and abrupt changes of surface — moving from asphalt onto stony ground, for example. In ordinary walking on flat ground Arch Support+ stays neutral and does not interfere with natural biomechanics. The technology's main job is foot safety in unforeseen situations, not an artificial correction of your gait.
Flex+ — a development that grew out of more than 20 years of research into outsole structure. Natural flexibility and elasticity come not from the materials but from a considered system of grooves. Their geometry works with the foot at a micro level: the outsole bends exactly where and exactly as much as each step requires. The system does not interfere with biomechanics and corrects nothing — it follows the movement of the foot instead of dictating it. Flex+ leaves full control to your natural muscles and ligaments, simply removing the resistance a rigid outsole usually creates.
ADAPT — a construction technology that brings Flex+, Arch Support+, Barefoot+ and Green Rubber together into one system. The running surface of the outsole carries raised points that follow the contour of the foot and stand a few millimetres above the main surface. In the first days of wear these points rub away in the zones of greatest pressure — differently for every person. The outsole literally adapts to your foot, its particular shape and your gait. It is a fundamentally different approach to shoe design, where comfort is not set by the construction but emerges through wear. Adapt is that very way of being yourself without an imposed opinion.
